A great opportunity for expectant parents to learn the basics of breastfeeding in a relaxed and personalized setting.
We’ll cover:
Complete health history
How to get breastfeeding off to a strong start
Knowledge of how your specific health or anatomy concerns may impact lactation
Feeding cues and responsive feeding
The basics of a good latch
What supplies you actually need
Time for your personal questions
If you’ve had challenges with breastfeeding before, we can talk through what happened and create a plan to support a smoother experience this time around.
After our visit, you’ll receive helpful resources you can refer to throughout your feeding journey.
Full Lactation Assessment — $150
If anything about nursing feels uncomfortable, overwhelming, or just off — this consult is for you.
This visit includes:
A thorough health history of both you and your baby
An in-home observation of a feeding
Pre- and post-feed weights
Infant oral exam, if applicable
Detailed physician report
After the visit, you’ll receive a personalized care plan and 2 weeks of real-time support via secure text messaging.
*Follow-up visits can be schedule on an as needed basis for $120.
Bottle Refusal Consultation — $200
If your baby is refusing the bottle, you are not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it alone either.
This consult includes:
A full feeding history
An infant oral exam to identify any physical factors contributing to bottle refusal
A review of bottles, nipples, and pacifiers previously tried
Personalized bottle selection
Guided bottle-feeding practice
Together, we’ll uncover what’s making bottle-feeding difficult and create a plan to overcome it—one that works for your baby and your family.
After the visit, you’ll receive a personalized care plan that includes gentle oral function exercises and bottle feeding strategies tailored to your baby.
You’ll also receive 2 weeks of real-time support via secure text messaging for any follow-up questions or concerns.
Exclusive Pumping & Back to Work Support — $200
Whether you're preparing to return to work or planning to exclusively pump, this consult is designed to help you feel confident and prepared.
Includes one extended in-person visit where we will:
Review your current feeding routine and upcoming schedule
Measure for correct flange size
Determine optimal pump settings
Discuss strategies to support pump output
Cover milk storage, cleaning, upkeep, and must-have supplies
You’ll also receive 2 weeks of real-time support via secure text messaging for any follow-up questions or concerns.
*Flange fitting can be scheduled as a standalone visit for $35.
*All services are FSA/HSA eligible.
**A superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement if desired. There is no guarantee that your insurance company will provide reimbursement.
***Please note: in home assessment and follow-up visit rates apply to residents of Grand Traverse, Leelanau, and Benzie counties. Additional cost applies for home visits that are more than 35 miles from Traverse City.
